In today’s world, it is important for companies to take a social responsibility. CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) is not “nice-to-have”, but necessary for companies to be part of a sustainable and responsible future.

Inclusive workplace

At Jorenku, we think it is important to take a social responsibility to contribute to the world around us. We put CSR into practice by having various flexible jobs (for people with a reduced ability to work). This way we all contribute to having a more inclusive workplace.

With flexible jobs, we help create opportunities for people who would otherwise have difficulty finding foothold in the labor market. We believe that everyone has something to offer and that it is important to make room for diversity and difference.

We consider offering flexible jobs as an investment in both our company and society as a whole. We create a win-win situation by having committed and skilled employees, while simultaneously contributing to a more inclusive labor market.

Therefore, we aim for around 20 % of employees to be employed in flexible jobs.

From customer to reutilisation

In addition to our focus on social responsibility and inclusion, Jorenku also works with CSR by reducing our climate footprint.

Therefore, we have made an arrangement where we collect used drums and IBCs from our customers and reuse them. In this way, we save resources and reduce our amount of waste.

Improvement of hygiene in stables also improves animal welfare

Furthermore, we are proud of producing i.a. products that secure better hygiene in stables and contribute to improving animal welfare. Staldren^® is designed to maintain a hygienic stable, which can reduce the risk of diseases among the animals.

We believe that better hygiene in the stable is not only good for the animals, but also for the farmer’s finances and reputation.

As part of our CSR initiatives, we work together with our collaborators to enlighten farmers around the world about the importance of good hygiene in stables and its importance for animal welfare.

ISO-certificering

We also consider our ISO22000 certification as part of our work with social responsibility. The certification demonstrates our commitment to providing safe feed products by implementing strict hygiene/traceability procedures throughout our supply chain.

Furthermore, we take responsibility very seriously by implementing a system to identify and manage risks in relation to food safety.

Therefore, we believe that our ISO 22000 certification is not just a duty, but an opportunity to make a difference.
