Lick Stones for sheep and goats

SP™ lick stones are essential in securing the individual need of salt, minerals, trace elements and vitamins, which are essential for good health, and therefore the performance of the sheep and goats. A possible lack of these elements can result in reduced appetite, milk yield, growth, and natural resistance. Also, fertility problems and weight loss can increase in herds with sheep or goats. 

Because of the natural licking behaviour of sheep and goats, they can balance their need for salt, minerals, trace elements and vitamins by means of a lick stone.

Both types of lick stones are produced with a high-pressure method,  that makes them resistant to rain and easy to handle. They consist only of the finest and purest salt or salt with the addition of approved feed additives such as minerals and vitamins modified to sheep and goats.

SP™ lick stones are GMP+ certificated and  pproved for use in organic production.
