Iron Pills

The Iron pills are a vitamin enriched iron supplement designed specifically for piglets in order to meet their needs of this essential nutrient.

The natural diet of piglets, primarily consisting of the sow’s milk, does not fully cover their need of iron. Therefore, it is crucial that you provide them with additional iron, as this mineral plays a central role in the formation of haemoglobin in the red blood cells. An iron deficiency can lead to anemia, lower growth, as well as an increased mortality rate among the piglets.

In addition to the iron, this product also contains vitamin C, which strengthens the mucous membranes and increases the uptake of iron. Therefore, this combination of nutrients ensures effective fulfilment of the nutritional needs of the piglets.
