Triple-Iron

Triple-Iron is a tasteful and effective iron supplement, which covers the piglets’ need of iron.

Piglets need iron to cover their need for e.g. a sufficient high level of haemoglobin. Studies show that the piglets only have some of their needs covered through the milk of the sow, thus it is necessary to provide the piglets an extra supplement of iron.

The product’s benefits

The product is based on three-component iron and contains vitamin C, which promotes the absorption of iron. It is composed so that it also acts as an electrolyte, providing a strong gastrointestinal system.

The product is sprinkled on clean and dry floor where the sow has no direct access to it.

Research of the product distributed over three measurements resulted in an allocation of iron per piglet of 1000 mg.

In cases where injected, a lower haemoglobin level is often seen in the last period before weaning. Here, it can profitably be used supplementary. This also completely eliminates the risk of development of arthritis among the piglets. 

Specification

Vitamin-rich supplement is available in buckets with 1 kg, 5 kg, and 10 kg and in bags with 20 kg.
