In agriculture, products, suppliers and prices are continuously evaluated. Even so, some partnerships last decade after decade. However, it is rarely a coincidence when a good partnership lasts for 30 years.

When a good partnership lasts for 30 years
A good partnership can lasts for 30 years

At Jorenku, many of the company’s dealers in both Denmark and abroad have been part of the journey for 20–30 years. In fact, Finland was Jorenku’s first export market, and the partnership continues to this day – more than 30 years later.

More than a good product

A good product can open the door to a new partnership, but it is not enough to maintain it for decades.

That requires trust, ongoing dialogue and close collaboration on developing the market. At the same time, the dealer builds up experience with the products that can only come from many years of practical work.

What does this mean for the farmer?

For the farmer, it means that the advice is based on many years of experience – not just on product data sheets.

When a dealer has worked with the same products for decades, they know the products’ strengths, their application and the challenges that may arise in practice. At the same time, there is close dialogue between Jorenku and its dealers. This way, knowledge, documentation and experience are continuously shared.

This provides more qualified advice and greater confidence when choosing products for the farm.

Relationships create continuity

From its first export partnership in Finland, Jorenku has grown and today has distributors in around 65 countries worldwide.

Many of the international partnerships go back more than 20–30 years. Tthe same applies to several of the company’s Danish partners, who have represented Jorenku since the 1990s.

According to CEO Johnni Pedersen, this is the result of a deliberate strategy.
“We are proud that so many of our dealers have chosen to be part of Jorenku for so many years. To us, it shows that a good partnership is about much more than products. When relationships are strong, customers also benefit through better advice, continuity and close collaboration.”

Long-term relationships create value

Markets develop, new products are introduced, and requirements for documentation continue to increase. Even so, one thing remains the same at Jorenku: the company believes that long-term partnerships create the best results.

For customers, this means access to products backed by local advisers with in-depth knowledge of the products, the market and the people who use them.
